Joseph Parker: Secret Things
I once again had the joy and privilege to read for the fabulous podcast, Revived Thoughts.
This was a really interesting sermon and it really highlighted some of the discussions Tony and I have had while going through our current book “What About Evil” by Scott Christensen. The sermon entails how we don’t always have to focus on what the hidden things that belong to God are especially when it comes to our learning about Him through our Scriptural readings or our obedience to Him. He also covers the general grace that is afforded to believers who know God exists by their very actions and existence. This was such a joy to read.
Please check out this episode and support Troy and Joel over at Revived Thoughts. They also have Martyrs and Missionaries and Revived Radio where Elise does some spectacular research. Revived Devos for a daily devotion.
“Joseph Parker was Charles’ Spurgeon town rival. They both ran large churches in London at the same time. Listen to his story and a sermon of his titled, Secret Things.”
