Looking at the final three claims of Bart Ehrman when it comes to the Bible having contradictions that make it a non-trustworthy historical story. We look at the difference in chronology and details and see that Ehrman’s claims don’t really add up to contradictions. We also look at Ehrman’s biggest claim in that Jesus was never thought of as being God or claimed to be God. It was only later, that His followers made those claims. We look at the internal critique which shows just the opposite.

Finishing the chapter dealing with alleged contradictions, we look at a few allegations Bart Ehrman makes. We look at the claim that Matthew & Paul contradict each other when it comes to salvation & The Law. We also look at the somewhat odd claim that there are some harmonizations that can’t be made with certain events of the New Testament, one of them being the trial of Jesus.

What came first – the calling of Peter and Andrew or the imprisonment of John the Baptist (Q124)
Was Jesus crucified the day before or the day after the Passover meal (Q133)
When did Satan enter Judas (Q135)
When did Jesus temple tantrum occur (Q138)
