Early Church Leadership Taken Seriously

Troy & Joel from the Revived Thoughts podcast asked Patrick to read a 4th-century church leader’s sermon, Gregory of Nazianzus.

He was interesting to learn about.  It’s amazing to learn about the passion and doctrine espoused in these early church leaders.  In this sermon, Gregory undertakes the charge of helping his church in a deacon-type role.  Hopefully, the passion conveyed by Patrick gives honor to the words once spoken by the Christian himself.

Excerpt from the site:

Gregory of Nazianzus is an early church father from the 300s. He is also one of the greatest defenders of the Trinity who has ever lived.
