Lyman Beecher – Nature of Alcoholism
When Troy from Revived Thoughts contacted me to take a controversial sermon on the dangers of alcohol, I was happy to do so. Not one to shy away from controversy and as a personal teetotaler, I was happy to take on the mantle of Beecher.
From the episode description:
Lyman Beecher lived through the end of the 18th and 19th century. A tumultous time for Christianity and Beecher was at the forefront of many battles from abolition to prohibition.
