The Need For Christ To Suffer
The need for Christ to suffer is solidly linked to what sin is. Christians, we really need to study our theology and therefore understand God more. From that, we need to understand sin better and just how terrible it is. It is antithetical to who God is and its breaking at the Cross and the need for its ultimate destruction is rooted in the character of God. Sin is more than just “ick”, “bad”, or “really bad”. It is the putrid runoff of the worst of humanity. And I am one of the greatest perpetrators of it and should understand that more.
