Moral Realism – A Position Without A Standard

If not adopting moral nihilism, one is probably going to embrace moral realism – a position without a standard. To say there are objective moral realities in the world that are consistent and maybe even knowable is really hard to make a case for. There might be a standard one might embrace. A good majority of people might agree with that standard. They might write books, give talks, hold meetings, and go to conventions. But when it comes down to it, why OUGHT I do something and by what standard MUST I be beholden to for it to be true?
