How humans respond to facts is a lot less Spock and more Bones if I can use my beloved Star Trek analogy. Oh sure, for things like who’s the most reoccurring guest star in Star Trek (Majel Barrett, of course). But when it comes to facts that affect a person’s belief in the basic building blocks of all life – we only think babies are cute so we’ll take care of them – that’s where we grit our teeth at them more.
