God, Shakespeare, & Evil

God, Shakespeare, & Evil

The question of God being the alleged author of evil is nothing new. The Westminster Confession, Jonathan Edwards, & John Frame have all spoken on the fact that God is the allower of evil but not the author of sin. One way we can see this as being the case is looking to the works of Shakespeare (or any author who writes about evil) in their books. God, Shakespeare, and evil share the same page in this regard but there are differences as a result of all analogies break down.
