Free Will Undermines The Doctrine Of Depravity

Another issue with wanting to believe in free will is that free will undermines the doctrine of depravity. Not that we are as bad as we can possibly be but that we are wholely enslaved to sin. This is a clear teaching of Scripture. Salvation, likewise, is a free gift of God lest anyone should boast. But if we are truly free, then why can’t we boast?
