Define Evil As Pain
One of the most common secular definitions for evil is to define it as anything that brings pain or suffering of a conscious being. While it may seem like a pretty good definition, it misses out on elements many still call evil and still has a feelings component rather than an objective grounding. There are issues when one wants to define evil as pain.
