Everyone Is A Philosopher
Everyone Is A Philosopher! It doesn’t matter your education or lack there of. It doesn’t matter if you are from the West or the East or from Mars. You can not know any Latin or you know how to get angry at the drive-through order taker in a dead language. You cannot help it.
In this chapter, Bahnsen works at getting to understand what is philosophy and why everyone has a philosophy. What does a philosophy do as it seems to important for everyone to do it without knowing they are? It is a crucial formative and evolving process but like with anything the approach of one’s own and especially of others is informed by one’s presuppositions. Presuppositions combined with philosophy go on to form one of the most important aspects of a person’s life – one’s worldview.
